CutBG ("the App") is a desktop application developed by IAM_DEV. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

CutBG does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The App operates entirely offline on your local device.

• No account or registration is required.
• No analytics or tracking software is included.
• No data is sent to external servers.
• No telemetry or crash reports are collected.

Local File Processing

All video and image files you process with CutBG are handled entirely on your device. Processed files are stored in a local folder on your computer (~/.cutbg/uploads/). You can delete these files at any time from within the App or directly from your file system.

AI Models

CutBG uses AI models (MediaPipe SelfieSegmentation and U2Net via rembg) that run locally on your device. These models do not communicate with any external service. On first launch, the U2Net model (~170 MB) may be downloaded automatically to your local model cache. This download goes only to your device.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data services.

Children's Privacy

CutBG does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
